How the common options differ
ElasticFunnels is a funnel platform for teams running paid traffic. The presell, the order page and the upsells are built in one place, presell variants are split-tested under one URL, and conversion is reported per traffic source, with a CRM on the same data. Every plan has every feature; plans differ by usage (Starter $97, Growth $197 and Scale $497 a month), with a 14-day trial that needs no card. It is newer than the tools below and has little independent review coverage yet, which is normal for a platform this young, so expect to judge it on your own trial traffic.
ClickFunnels is the long-established funnel builder: pages, order forms, upsells and split testing in one account, with a large user community and plenty of tutorials.
Leadpages, Unbounce and Instapage are landing page builders. They are strong at building and testing single pages and at lead capture, and they hand the visitor to a checkout you run somewhere else, so presell-to-sale reporting depends on connecting that checkout yourself.
Whichever you use, the example pages on this site paste into any builder that accepts custom HTML.
